Comprehensive, Specialized Training

Allergan offers a comprehensive training program to educate surgeons and help them successfully incorporate the LAP-BAND AP^® System into their practices. Surgeons must participate in an Allergan-authorized training program to become LAP-BAND AP^® System surgeons.

The LAP-BAND AP^® System training program covers how to select patients , provide excellent patient care, get reimbursed as appropriate, and everything else surgeons need to integrate the LAP-BAND AP^® System into their practices.

Allergan also offers an array of educational materials to help surgeons through the training process, keep up to date on their knowledge, and to successfully use the LAP-BAND AP^® System to help obese patients take back their lives.
